Originally from the North-East of Thailand, she has a Bachelor of Science (Crop Production Technology) from Suranaree University of Technology in Thailand and has worked for over 20 years in the university’s agriculture department. She was a teaching assistant and was also working as a researcher, deepening her studies on various agricultural techniques and disciplines.

Many other experiences in the agriculture field such as being a farm manager and teaching various agricultural workshops gave Khun Yuppa an impressive level of knowledge. One of her major goals is to teach the next generation of children how food is grown and to teach them the importance of healthier lifestyles.

Accordingly, she will now have the chance to realize her objectif with The Yaowawit children. She will structure the farm to become more sustainable, fully organic and with her assistance Yaowawit will be able to have fresh vegetables all year round from our new permaculture farming projects.
You may find Yuppa somewhere between her organic community gardens and The Yaowawit School as she adores being surrounded by plants.
